BHUTAN VISA
Please make sure your passport has at least six months validity when you depart for Bhutan.
The visa to Bhutan is issued in Bhutan by the home ministry. You need to apply in advance through your tour operator and you will receive confirmation of your visa before you travel to Bhutan.
The visa is issued only after the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) has confirmed it has received full payment in its bank account of the planned tour.
The confirmation and reference number for your visa is sent to the tour operator and a copy will be sent to you. You need to show this at the check-in desk for Bhutan Airlines. Without this document, you cannot board the airline bound for Bhutan. Make sure you have it along with your passport.
The visa is issued for exactly the number of days and dates as booked. If circumstances arise for an extension once in Bhutan, it can be arranged.
It is advisable to book your Bhutan Tour several months in advance, in order to ensure the smooth planning of your Bhutan Tour.
Book early?
The tourism industry is still developing and related infrastructure are limited including flights in and out of the country.
Peak seasons can be quite busy, so early bookings mean better chances of securing a seat on flights and hotel rooms.
For the festival months, you need to book around four or five months ahead to get flights, especially if you are unable to be flexible and are tied to particular dates.
We will suggest the itinerary based on your travel time frame. Once we set with your itinerary we will ask you email the information which are required for the Bhutan visa application and regional Air booking.
